Taroko is looking for a Digital Designer to create graphics for the product website and app.

 Duties and responsibilities

  • Create pixel-perfect icons and vector graphics
  • Design website mockups, layout designs, and brand style guides
  • Interact with other departments to bring design requirements into reality
  • Assist in delivering final assets for developers
  • Produce infographics, blog post images, social media ads/banners, and other marketing materials
  • Update company’s branding materials, including e-newsletters, presentations, etc.
  • Maintain an organized repository of design team’s visual assets
  • Actively brainstorm ideas and suggestions to improve current designs
  • Ad hoc activities (as required)

 Technical Qualifications

  • Strong illustration skills – must have Experience in visual design, typography, layout, color theory, and vector graphics – must have
  • Proficiency in Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other equivalent design tools – must have
  • Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology – good to have
  • Logo branding and motion graphics – good to have
  • Conversational in English – must have
  • Minimum 2+ year experience in graphic design

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related field

  • Proactive, adaptable, quick learner with keen attention to detail
  • A team player, flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Open mindedness
