A Glimpse into the Role

  • Work in collaboration with the HR Manager, lead the company operational HR activities including processes and procedures, keeping abreast of changes in legislation and making proposals for change, ensuring the wider business is kept up to date
  • Provide ongoing partnership and professional, proactive advisory support to Line Managers across all aspects of employee life-cycle to include recruitment, selection, retention, engagement, employee relations, performance evaluation and employee development
  • Collate, analyze and make commercial recommendations based on HR management information on a regular basis, including headcount, organization, absence, churn rate, recruitment metrics and any other people related data required

Policies and Procedures

  • Provide HR expertise, support, guidance, administration and follow up to ensure timely resolution on all employee relations issues reported by Line Managers; escalate more complex issues to the HR Manager.
  • Ensure the company has the relevant policies, procedures and processes in place to ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Communicate and advise managers of new relevant legislation and its impact on the business.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve the HR processes and practices to maximize business performance.

Engagement and Retention

  • Work in conjunction with HR Manager to create and implement strategies to increase performance, drive organization efficiency and reduce attrition.
  • Work with the HR Manager to ensure our Compensation and Benefits approach attracts, retains and appropriately rewards talent.
  • Manage the administration of all compensation and benefits programs, to ensure accuracy, compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Resource Planning

  • Support and provide guidance on HR processes to include performance reviews, talent assessment and succession planning.
  • Regularly review and update Workforce Plan with line managers to proactively identify resource requirements, appropriate recruitment plans and tools to attract and recruit the best talent with the correct skills, behavior and brand fit.
  • Partner with Managers to review, challenge, support and drive the Succession Planning process to facilitate robust plans to meet current and future requirements.


  • Manage the end to end recruitment life-cycle, including job advertising, candidate sourcing (direct/indirect) to on-boarding/off-boarding.
  • Partner with line managers to ensure the best candidate experience and constructive feedback to all candidates.
  • Provide support to candidate with work permit related activities.


  • Manage the administration of HR systems, to ensure data integrity.


  • Manage the end to end monthly payroll process, including statutory deductions.



  • Strong generalist HR (6+ years) background with proven track record of delivering an effective HR advisory service within a fast-changing environment.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, excellent verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
  • Good understanding of Taiwan Labor law and regulatory processes.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver commercially focused HR initiatives
